Latest on four playersRoyals manager Nigel Adkins gave an update on four of his injured players in his press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Alex McCarthy is set to keep his place between the sticks with Adam Federici ruled out, while Hope Akpan and Hal Robson-Kanu are both struggling to recover from their respective injuries in time for Saturday's game at Norwich.
"Federici is still recovering from his ankle injury. Hope Akpan is still recovering from his ankle injury that he picked up against Southampton," he said.
"Robson-Kanu is still recovering from the stitches he had in his knee wound on Monday. We're hopeful about that, but I would suggest he is not going to be available for the weekend's game."
Adkins as able to provide some brighter news on Jimmy Kebe, who is recovering well from his groin injury suffered last month at Everton.
"Jimmy's been doing some good running - I watched him glide across the ground, move in and out with different change of directions. That's really pleasing from my point of view."
