Royals on duty for countries
A number of Royals have received international call-ups this week to represent their countries.
Quartet Jobi McAnuff, Garath McCleary, Adrian Mariappa and Shaun Cummings have all been included in Jamaica's squad for their FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Panama and Costa Rica on the 6th and 10th of September.
They aren't the only Royals flying out together as Welsh pair Hal Robson-Kanu and Chris Gunter have again been selected in the Dragons' squad to travel to play Macedonia on the 6th before taking on Serbia in Cardiff on the 10th.
Kaspars Gorkss will be looking to lead his country out once again, as Latvia play away in Lithuania before hosting Greece.
There's great news for our talented young players too, as defender Jake Cooper has been included in the England U19 squad to face Estonia while tricky winger Tariqe Fosu is on standby. Young defender Niall Keown has withdrawn from the group due to injury.
For the Republic of Ireland, defender Sean Long has been again called up - this time for friendlies against Slovenia. Sean will be joined by Liam Kelly who has also been included, following an excellent performance in our under-18s opening day win, in which he scored a magical free kick - now a Youtube sensation.
And last but not least, youngster Samuel Fridjonsson is set to represent Iceland U19s against Scotland.
