Anton vows to support Adkins

Anton Zingarevich says it's important to give manager Nigel Adkins time to embed his philosophy onto the team.

The Royals owner believes Adkins will make it exciting for our supporters, and firmly backs him to succeed at Madejski Stadium as part of a long-term vision.

He said in his programme notes of 'The Royal', "One of the key things for us, especially in the first few months of the season, is to remember that we still have a relatively new manager who is working tirelessly every day to change and improve the way we play.

"Changing the whole playing philosophy is a huge job and I must give credit to Nigel and his staff for the strides we have made so far. For all of us watching the games as fans, it is important to have patience and understanding.

"What Nigel is doing is really exciting and we will give him time and support to do everything he needs to make us successful."
