Reading high in Premier League survey

Reading FC offered supporters the fifth-best matchday experience in the entire Premier League, according to a wide-ranging survey commissioned by the League themselves.

We have recently received our results in the survey carried out by VisitFootball, and were absolutely delighted to be scored in the upper echelons of what is widely considered the best league in the world. 

Our supporters’ satisfaction is vital to us, we strive for excellence in all aspects of the club and also very grateful to the League’s Supporter Services team for their help throughout last season.

The League analysed 64 different aspects of the club; as varied as quality of transport links; safety and stewarding; décor in the toilets; concourse signage; online ticket information; sight lines; catering and much, much more. 

The survey was conducted over a number of matchday visits to Madejski Stadium, and combined a total score from all visitors: home fans, away supporters and hospitality guests.

"It is about the whole experience, not just the 90 minutes of football, and we do what we can off the pitch to enhance that," said Reading FC Customer Service Manager Jackie Evans.

"People part with hard-earned money to come to football and have a choice where they spend it so it is important that the service they get is right. I think football is increasingly getting what it does for fans right."
