Drenthe loving life at ReadingRoyston Drenthe says he feels completely at home at Reading, and is relishing this Saturday's Sky Bet Championship away fixture at Blackpool.
The infectious character gave Watford credit after they pegged back the Royals to draw 3-3 last Saturday - and although we were denied our second win of the season, Royston believes our unbeaten record so far gives us something to build on.
"I think Watford did really well," said Royston. "When you come back into a game like this when you're away from home, then you deserve a lot of credit.
"We can be angry about it but we still haven't lost a game. We're unbeaten and that's important for us. In the next game we have to give it everything to get the three points.
"The Championship is in the top five most watched leagues in the world. We have had three games of high quality so far, and I'm looking forward to winning some more games with my team."
The Dutchman is delighted with the improvements he has made with his fitness since pre-season, and has called on the Royals to prove themselves this weekend when they travel to Bloomfield Road.
"I thank the gaffer, the coaches and everyone who has worked really hard with me. It was really tough in pre-season but I'm in good shape and I feel really good. I said to my teammates, I'm really happy to be here and I hope that I can be here for a long time.
"Blackpool is the next game and we have to be confident. It will not be easy against them, they are on an up at the moment. We have to go there and prove ourselves."
