New contracts confirmed

Goalkeeper Stuart Taylor has penned a new contract with the Royals, which will keep him at Madejski Stadium until June 2014.

The 32-year-old stopper joined the club in August last year, and made four Premier League appearances in the 2012/13 campaign – including trips to Arsenal and Manchester United.

Taylor signed his new deal at Hogwood Park on Thursday in the company of Chairman Sir John Madejski.

Fellow goalkeeper Jonathan Henly, midfielder Lawson D'Ath and young defenders Nick Arnold, Shane Griffin & Matt Partridge also extended their stays with Reading this summer.

Academy graduates Dan Lincoln, Stuart Moore, Jake Cooper, Sean Long, Niall Keown, Conor Shaugnessy, Shepherd Murombedzi and Shane Griffin have also signed professional contracts.
