Chelsea down Academy

20 December 2013

U18s well beaten

The Royals Academy lost out to a classy Chelsea side at their Cobham Training Ground.

After beating FA Youth Cup Norwich City holders 3-1 in the league and then seeing off Leeds United at Elland Road in the third round of that cup competition by the same scoreline, our youngsters failed to make in three wins in three as the Blues romped to a 6-0 victory.

A hat-trick from Dominic Solanke, his second treble in as many games, plus a brace from Ambrose Gnahore and a strike from Charly Musonda secured all three points for the hosts.
