Guide to the visitorsReading were the only team to inflict defeat on Nottingham Forest in their last nine games.
We won 3-2 at the City Ground at the end of November, and that is Billy Davies' men's only defeat since the 2nd of that month.
They have drawn four and won four of those games, but won their last two against QPR and Leeds. Prior to that they drew with Ipswich and Birmingham so have only conceded once in four games.
But, their record at Madejski Stadium does not make good reading for them, they have only won once here in seven attempts.
Indeed, that is Forest's only win in Reading stretching back nine games until September 1950.
There have been some high-scoring affairs between the sides; as well as this season's 3-2 we also won 4-3 there in 2011, while the last fixture between us at Elm Park was 3-3.
In 1930, we spanked Forest 5-2 at home,
eight months after being thrashed 5-0 on the road. In 1928 and 1927 we lost 5-3 and 5-1 away, and our first ever home game against them ended with a 6-3 reverse; something of a surprise considering the return fixture five days earlier was 0-0!
Tickets for today's game are cheaper when bought before midday, starting at £25 adults and £10 children. Call 0844 249 1871 or visit the Ticket Office in person!
