Midfielder up for 'Goal of the Round'

Royals midfielder Mikele Leigertwood has been nominated for the FA Cup's Goal of the Round - and fans can vote now!

The 30-year-old unleashed his 'Ledge Hammer' to fire home from 25 yards against Sheffield United, and help his side on their way to a 4-0 victory over the Blades.

Mikele is up against strikes from Olivier Giroud, Scott Dann, Wayne Rooney, Oscar and Ross McCormack.

On his strike, the very honest midfielder said, "It was good - though it was aided by a slight deflection! It was nice to win wearing the captain's armband too - I've filled in a few times before so it was nothing new."
