Royal British Legion raise huge amount in auctions

Shirts donated by Reading FC to the Royal British Legion raised an incredible £3,773 for charity at auction this month.

Royals fans donated very generously to this worthy cause, and Adam Le Fondre’s shirt went for the highest amount, clocking in at £454.

The shirts were all worn in our game with Norwich this season and signed by the players, and Jimmy Kebe’s shirt attracted the most bids with 32 offers made. In total 343 bids were placed on these auctions.

Adam Federici’s pink goalkeeper shirt – as yet only worn in this game – attracted a cracking £255, while the other most popular bids were for our flying forwards – Kebe £360, Pogrebnyak £300 and Hunt £275.

We would like to thank every supporter who placed a bid on these items, your money makes a real difference to the charity and the club are proud to be able to help.
