Easy access for Saturday
Royals fans will be able to park for free at Madejski Stadium for this Saturday's friendly with Swansea City.
Nigel Adkins' squad have been in fine form in the early stages of pre-season and remain unbeaten - including a 5-1 thumping of Portuguese top flight outfit Olhanense on Friday evening.
Car Parks at Madejski Stadium and the Old Greyhound Stadium will be completely free of charge for the 3pm kick off, as Reading supporters get the first chance this summer to see their side on home turf.
The Reading buses F1 Service / Park and Ride Shuttle to Reading station will run as normal before and after the game, though please note that Urban Services, the F2 Foster Wheeler service and Stagecoach services will not operate for the friendly.
For those using the buses this season, a new "Football Return" ticket is being introduced - priced at £6 for adults and £3.50 for under 19s. This will allow travelers to buy on any normal Reading Buses service and transfer onto the F1 service - and then return to town on the F1 and before again transferring onto your Reading buses service. This ticket is not valid on any other football bus and can only be purchased on a Reading Buses non-football service. It can only be purchased in the Simply Reading area. All other fares are frozen at last season’s prices.
