Friendly tonight

19 July 2013

Royals take on Portuguese

The Royals are in action tonight in the second of their Portuguese friendlies; lining up against top flight side Olhanense at 7:45pm.

The game takes place at the Rio Maior Sports Complex, and we take on a side managed by former Liverpool, LA Galaxy and Galatasaray man Abel Xavier.

Manager Nigel Adkins intends to give 60 minutes of game time to those who only played half an hour on Tuesday night - so the likes of Royston Drenthe, Jobi McAnuff, Wayne Bridge and Adam Le Fondre are set to start the game.

Hal Robson-Kanu and Jason Roberts are training but unavailable, while Jimmy Kebe missed Tuesday's draw with Belenenses.

The match is live on BBC Radio Berkshire, and we will have updates on our social media, with video highlights to follow on Reading FC Player.
