Round-up of key commercial deals for Royals

The Royals have certainly been busy in the transfer market already this summer, but it's not just the footballing staff who have been working hard to finalise key deals during the off-season

The first major commercial deal of the summer came in June, when the club announced a hugely exciting new partnership with Formula One team Marussia.

The deal was signed at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, and the arrangement will see the Reading FC badge displayed on Marussia's Formula One cars, and their logo on the reverse of our playing shirts in the upcoming 2013/14 season.

A week later, and the Royals confirmed a deal with the Betting Room - and company who will provide in-stadia betting at The Madjeski this season.

The next piece of commercial news came in the shape of a brand new competition, thanks to our new partnership with WhoScored.com, which will see two lucky supporters fulfill a dream come true and watch the Royals first team train at Hogwood Park.

And finally, the Royals most recently revealed The Legend Alliance as the club’s new shorts sponsor for the 2013/14 campaign.

The partnership was announced with a photo call on Wednesday afternoon, as Chairman Sir John Madejski welcomed representatives from the Basingstoke based company to Madejski Stadium.
