Three special competitions

Our Young Royals are in for a treat over the next few weeks - as there are three fantastic competitions to enter!

Young Royals Fans Forum!


Is there a question you have always wanted to ask a member of the Royals squad? Well, now could be your chance, in this special Young Royals competition!

50 very lucky Young Royals, plus a parent or guardian, will be invited to attend an exclusive Fans Forum at Madejski Stadium during the Easter holidays where they can put their question to a selection of Royals stars!

All you need to do is think of an interesting question and email it to youngroyals@readingfc.co.uk or post to Young Royals Fans Forum, Madejski Stadium, Junction 11, M4, Reading, RG2 0FL, along with your full name, address and contact details. 

Kingsley and Queensley will then select the best 50 questions and the winners will be invited to attend this fantastic event and meet their Royals heroes! Good luck! 

Closing date is 12pm on Friday 29th March 2013. 

Competition Rules

1. Entrants must be a registered Young Royals member.
2. Only one entry will be accepted per person.
3. Entrants must obtain permission from their parent/guardian before entering.
4. The prize-winners will be randomly drawn from all the correct entries, and contacted by Reading FC. Only the winners will be contacted personally.
5. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
6. There will be no cash alternatives.
7. Reading FC does not accept any responsibility for late or lost entries. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
8. Players must supply full details as required, and comply with all rules to be eligible for the prizes. 
9. No responsibility is accepted for ineligible entries or entries made fraudulently.
10. Reading FC reserves the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
11. Reading FC may wish to invite Young Royals to take part in media activity. Participation could be in the form of on/offline media photographs, interviews or broadcast appearances.  Please inform youngroyals@readingfc.co.uk if you do not wish to participate.
12. Entrants will be deemed to have accepted these rules and to agree to be bound by them when entering this competition.

Win a player visit for your school!



In this special competition, just for Young Royals, you could win the chance to welcome a member of the Royals first team to your school!

The player visit would include a question and answer session so you can put your questions to the Royals star before he sign autographs and poses for photos with you and your friends! 

Simply tell us why you would like to invite a Royals star to meet you and your school pals!

Perhaps tell us why you are such a big Royals fan and what it would mean to you to have the chance to introduce a player to your classmates!

Please ensure your school is able to accommodate a player visit and media presence before entering the competition. 

Terms and conditions
1. All entrants must be current members of the Young Royals, Reading Football Club’s official junior supporters club.
2. Closing date for entries is 12pm on Friday 5th April 2013. 
3. All entrants must ensure their school are happy to accommodate a player visit and allow media access.
4. The date and time of the visit is subject to agreement with Reading Football Club.
5. The visit will last no longer than one hour and will include a question and answer session, followed by the opportunity for some autographs and photographs.  
6. Reading Football Club may announce the winner on their website.
7. The school and the winners may be asked to participate media/PR opportunities. Participation could be in the form of on/offline media photographs, interviews or broadcast appearances.
8. Reading Football Club have the right to withdraw the competition, change dates/times, at any stage of this competition.
9. The information contained in all promotional materials and websites is accurate at the time of being published.
10. Reading Football Club cannot be held responsible for any subsequent changes.
11. There is no cash alternative or equivalent to the prizes (or any part thereof).
Entry into this competition deems acknowledgement and acceptance of all parts of these terms and conditions and other requirements and features of the competition.

Enter our special competition, just for Young Royals, for the chance to be a Royals mascot when we host Queens Park Rangers on Sunday 28th April, kick off 1.30pm!

Line up on the hallowed turf alongside your Royals heroes just before the action kicks off. 

You can also bring along your family to watch as this fantastic prize also includes 4 match tickets. 

To be in with a chance of winning simply answer the following question correctly:

Closing date for entries is 12pm on Friday 12th April. Competition rules are as follows:

1) Prize details:  The winner will lead the team out as a mascot for Reading v Queens Park Rangers, Sunday 28th April 2013, 1.30pm and will meet the team in the dressing room. 
2) The winner must be able to provide a passport photograph to be included in the matchday programme.
3) If required, four seat tickets will be allocated in the stadium bowl subject to availability.
4) Entrants must be a registered Young Royals member for the 2011/12 or 2012/13 season.
5) Only one entry will be accepted per person.
6) Competition is not open to employees of Reading Football Club, Millennium Madejski Hotel and Royal Berkshire Conference Centre.
7) Entrants must obtain permission from their parent/guardian before entering.
8) The winner will be drawn at random from all the correct entries, and contacted by Reading FC. Only the winners will be contacted personally. Promoters decision is final.
9) The winner’s name can be obtained by sending a letter to: Young Royals Mascot Competition, Marketing Department, Reading Football Club, Madejski Stadium, Reading, Berkshire, RG2 0FL
10) Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred.
11) There will be no cash alternatives.
12) Reading Football Club does not cover the cost of travel to and from Madejski Stadium and or any expenses occurred. It is the responsibility of the recipients to cover these costs
