Adkins maintains driveNigel Adkins insists his players are no more relaxed since relegation was confirmed.
With their fate sealed in a draw with QPR, the Royals went out in their next game and won 4-2 at Fulham with an excellent performance.
The boss insists there was no less pressure on his team to go out and do their jobs at Craven Cottage, and that approach & professionalism will remain in place for the final two matches.
He said, "You always put pressure on yourself to perform and to build. If you go into a game too relaxed then you can get turned over in a big way.
"On Saturday the players worked really hard and did a lot of things we talked about in preparation for the game, credit to them for carrying it out in a big way. We were delighted to get the winning feeling back.
"We know next season will be relentless and we want to play winning football. Saturday was a good victory and was very pleasing."
