Irish youngsters to fly the flag
A group of Reading's coaching staff recently visited the region which produced a certain Kevin Doyle, and delivered a series of sessions to a group of aspiring young footballers.
The boys from Bree United Under 11s were put through their paces by coach Gary Webb, and they'll certainly be representing the Royals from now on - as they're due to play next season in the club's shirts!
Manager Aileen O Connor said: "Bree United are a small club in County Wexford, so to have Gary visit and work with the kids was fantastic. None of this would have been possible without the help of our Coach Tucker O'Brien and we would like to say a huge thank you to all involved."
Gary Webb added: "I have visited County Wexford on a number of occasions and it is great to work with the local community to help develop football in that area. Everyone makes me feel so welcome and I cannot thank them enough, it really is a pleasure to work with Bree Utd, there are clearly some talented players and I wish them the very best for next season in their new Reading FC shirts. I would also like to say a huge thank you to Tucker O'Brien for making this opportunity possible as we continue to build the partnership with County Wexford."
