Owls boss on Hillsborough win
In an extraordinarily open game in South Yorkshire, Sean Morrison's late first half own goal perhaps summed up the afternoon for Nigel Adkins' men - who were punished by a lively Owls front line.
"I feel sorry for Reading because everything we did went right for us today," said Jones.
"It could have been 5-5 in the first half and it could have been 12-8 in the second. It's been coming, all that frustration and bad luck came good - we just needed to turn the draws into wins and everything that could go for us went for us and these are the days you've got to enjoy. We were watching the Watford v Leicester game earlier today and Leicester got a lucky goal and we thought ‘we just don’t get those kind of breaks’. But we got one today in our favour and sometimes those little slices of luck can make all the difference. But it’s credit to all of them today. They can take the confidence from a win like that against a very good Reading side."
