Morrison and HRK ruled out

Nigel Adkins was forced into making two changes prior to the Royals clash with Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park.

Sean Morrison will be sidelined for several weeks with a knee injury sustained in training this week, whilst Hal Robson-Kanu misses out through illness. 

Alex Pearce returns to the starting XI, whilst Adam Le Fondre will accompany Pavel Pogrebnyak up front. 

Shaun Cummings' is also unavailable with injury, though it is not thought to be serious. The Royals injury list now includes Wayne Bridge, Cummings, Morrison, Jem Karacan, Mikele Leigertwood, Royston Drenthe, Hal Robson-Kanu and Jason Roberts.

Blackburn are able to call upon Jordan Rhodes, after the forward shook off an injury picked up in the international break.
