Striker heads to ShrewsburyRoyals striker Gozie Ugwu has signed for Sky Bet League One club Shrewsbury Town on a youth loan deal.
The 20-year-old will initially be with the Shrews, who are currently 15th in the third tier, until January 2nd 2014 and will go straight into Town's squad for their trip to Port Vale this Saturday.
Shrewsbury have been training at Lilleshall today (Thursday), where Gozie has met up with his new team mates, manager Graham Turner and his coaching staff.
The Oxford-born forward has impressed in the Royals under-21s side this season, playing in all eight Barclays U21 Premier League matches and scoring five goals - as well as finding the net in a number of friendlies as well.
Royals supporters may have seen the Academy graduate catch the eye back in August, as Ugwu scored two excellent goals for the under-21s in a 4-2 victory over Newcastle United in their first match of the campaign before coming on as a substitute at the home of the Royals during our challenge match with Oman.
