Key info for Tykes clash

Team News
Barnsley:  The hosts will be without on-loan defender Peter Ramage for Tuesday's league match because he has a back injury. Tom Kennedy is expected to continue to deputise in his absence.

Reading: Jobi McAnuff trained on Friday and Saturday so should be available, while striker Nick Blackman could also return. Royston Drenthe and Danny Williams are unlikely to be fit, while Mikele Leigertwood is progressing well and could play an under 21s game soon.

In quotes
Barnsley boss David Flitcroft: "We've got a lot of teams yet that we can beat and will beat. We won't lose the will to fight."

Royals manager Nigel Adkins: "The spirit is high, the momentum is good, and our squad of players is good. I want to keep driving everybody on. We set our bar very high."

Reading defender Alex Pearce: "It's going to be a tough game up at Oakwell, it's always a tough place to go. If teams are going to get promoted they need to go to places like that and win. We'll be looking to do the same thing - go up there, keep a clean sheet and look to win the game."

Royals midfielder Danny Guthrie: "We've got a massive week ahead and we want two more wins to take it up to nine points for the week, the maximum, and go into the international break on a high."
