Kelly on Wednesday fixtureRoyals defender Stephen Kelly admits that last Saturday's draw with Millwall was frustrating, but our concentration is now fully on this weekend's fixture at Sheffield Wednesday.
The Ireland international has featured six times for the Royals this season, working hard for his place amongst a very competitive back four.
He admits that Reading were below-par in last weekend's draw with Millwall but says the side will be full focussed on Saturday's trip to South Yorkshire.
“We didn’t pass the ball well enough,” admitted the Royals full back. “So you have to say Millwall probably deserved something from the game.
“We didn’t perform well at all and Millwall caused us problems. They put us under pressure and kept the ball a bit better than we did.
“When you are chasing promotion you want to pick up as many points as you can, especially at home. It was frustrating but we’ve got another big game coming up this Saturday and we need to concentrate on that now.”
"Every footballer wants to play and I would love to have a run in the side. So it's just about keeping my head down, working hard and when my opportunity comes, trying to take it."
