Jobi: Home form key

Royals skipper Jobi McAnuff believes that winning the majority of our home games this season will be vital to our success.

Nigel Adkins' men are unbeaten at Madejski Stadium so far this season having won four and drawn two.

"Our home form is going to be key for us this year," said McAnuff. "Hopefully we can win the majority of our home games and also pick up some points away.

"It'll be tough - it's always tough against Millwall and they had a great result against QPR. We'll have to approach it in the right way, be prepared as we will be and look to get another three points.

"If we're there or there abouts at the turn of the year then it's a good place to be. That's going to be our aim - be as high as we can come January or February."

Meanwhile, team mate Danny Guthrie insists that his Robert De Niro lookalike haircut is here to stay after his new mohawk trim has coincided with a good run of form for the Royals, particularly at Madejski Stadium.

"The haircut is staying, it has served me well! I was thinking about giving it the snip after the Burnley defeat, but that's another goal so it has earned itself a reprieve.

"It can't go now. That is three goals in four and also in the last two at the Madejski, I'm not used to it!"
