Midfield heroes in The Royal

25 October 2013

Don't miss Part Four of our MAD MEN series and a Pavel exclusive inside!

It's a central midfield bonanza in this weekend's issue of 'The Royal' as Part Four of our Mad Men series runs in the Showcase section of Saturday's matchday programme.

Featured are some of our greatest modern day midfield heroes - Phil Parkinson, Steve Sidwell, Jem Karacan and James Harper are all profiled, not to mention Brynjar Gunnarsson, Marek Matejovsky and Kalifa Cisse, as our 15-page 'showcase' at the reverse of the programme continues to celebrate every player who has pulled on the home shirt at Madejski Stadium in its 15 years of football.

The grand total now stands at 178 players in total, after Jordan Obita and Chris Baird made their home bow against Birmingham late last month.

In the main body of the programme, we have an exclusive interview with Pavel Pogrebnyak - our big Russian is in fine form and he tells us about his six-year-old son who is an aspiring footballer, and speaks on his life in England.

Of course there are programme notes from the manager and the captain and we have a double page feature on two Royals greats who have recently reached goalscoring milestones - Jamie Cureton and Adam Le Fondre.

You can win a signed Wayne Bridge shirt or the latest Fratellis album in competitions run inside this issue - and we have all the regular historical articles, Young Royals games, quizzes and club news from around Madejski Stadium inside.

The programme is still only £3, remains perfect bound, 84 pages long and jam-packed with content. You can buy your copy from one of our two programme pods at the ground, from our sellers dotted around the stadium concourses, from the megastore and the Ticket Office - and if you miss a copy you can even buy your issue online at
