Our determination

Captain on Owls trip

Club captain Jobi McAnuff says the players are determined to keep a good run going when we travel to Sheffield Wednesday this weekend.

We go to Yorkshire having lost once in nine games since the 27th August, and we moved up to fifth in the Sky Bet Championship table this past weekend.

Jobi said of the match against the Owls, "It's a great place to go, traditional old stadium and we've got to go there and make sure we get straight back at it.

"Looking back on Saturday we had a chance to go 2-0 up and it didn't quite go in, from our perspective it's just about getting the results.

"You're not always going to play your best for a full game, in this division it's about results, teams are going to come here and make it hard for us, we've just got to make sure if we get in front we see the game out. Being 1-0 up we felt it was two points dropped.

"It was a bit scrappy, not the best we've played this year but having gone a goal up we should have seen the game out and made sure we got three points."
