Award for Russian forwardPavel Pogrebnyak picked up his first man of the match award after a fantastic display against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday afternoon.
The Russian international played a key part in Danny Guthrie's opening goal, and capped off a dominant display with a scintillating finish in the dying stages.
"Pavel was outstanding and led the line ever so well," said Nigel Adkins.
"He finished off with a goal, a great goal that got the place rocking and sent everyone home very happy. His workrate and desire to get hold of the ball for the team was superb, he was a constant threat."
Speaking to Reading FC Player, Pogrebnyak admitted he was delighted with his afternoon's work.
"It was a good pass from McCleary. I didn't believe myself that I could score from that angle!" said Pavel.
"But it went in and it was good. They are a difficult team, all strong guys - so I was very happy to get three points. It was my first time getting man of the match - but I hope I will be more often man of the match!"
