Team: Jobi & Obita start

5 October 2013

Three changes from midweek draw

As the Royals prepare to take on top of the table Burnley this afternoon, Nigel Adkins has made three changes to the side that earned a point at Barnsley in midweek.

Captain Jobi McAnuff returns to the starting line-up after an ankle knock, while Jordan Obita earns only his second league start in a Reading shirt.

Wayne Bridge has been picked to start on the left side of the back four, so Stephen Kelly takes a place on the bench.

Nick Blackman returns to the squad and Jake Taylor is also on the bench for the first time this season, while Adam Le Fondre begins the game as a substitute this afternoon.

Garath McCleary (knee) and Billy Sharp (groin) miss out with injury, as do Royston Drenthe, Danny Williams and long-term absentees Mikele Leigertwood, Jem Karacan and Jason Roberts.

Burnley: Heaton, Trippier, Mee, Shackell, Duff, Marney, Jones, Arfield, Kightly, Vokes, Ings
Subs: Cisak, Lafferty, Stock, Long, Stanislas, Treacy, Edgar

Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Bridge, Pearce, Morrison, Baird, Guthrie, Obita, McAnuff (c), Robson-Kanu, Pogrebnyak.
