Thatcham Town Harriers FC

2 October 2013

Thatcham Town Harriers FC are an FA Charter Standard Football Club. We play at age groups from U6 through to U17 and participate in the Peter Houseman Youth League (PHYL), Berkshire Youth Develoment League (BYDL) the Reading & West Berkshire League (RWBL) and the Oxford Mail Boys League.

Having begun as Kennet Harriers we formed a partnership in 2003 with Thatcham Town FC and were renamed to Thatcham Town Harriers.
Since then club has been successful on and off the field, with teams winning the county cup, local youth leagues and cup competitions. Many of our players have also enjoyed development with Reading FC Academy.

Harriers also provide football participation and competitive opportunities for children with disabilities. We do this through a Thursday Club football squad designed specifically for children with a disability aged 6 and 18 who want to get into football.

Thatcham Town Harriers have been previously awarded Berks & Bucks FA Charter Standard Club of the Year. We currently hold the Peter Houseman Youth League Fair Play Award and are proud partners of Reading FC Academy.
