Not to be missed!

27 September 2013

Part Three of our Mad Men series on Saturday!

It's been a while since Ady Williams featured on a programme cover, but this weekend's 'showcase' feature profiles our former centre-back's Madejski Stadium impact as part of our third 'Mad Men' instalment.

In every issue of 'The Royal', we are featuring a 15-page 'showcase' at the reverse of the programme in honour of the 15 years we have spent at Madejski Stadium - and this weekend's edition features another in the series of features that celebrates every player who has pulled on the home shirt at Madejski Stadium in its 15 years of football.

Others who take a place in this edition include Nicky Forster, Zurab Khizanishvili, Nicky Shorey and Nathan Tyson...these Mad Men features are not to be missed - you can collect every player who has ever played for Reading at Madejski Stadium, a great souvenir from what could be a memorable campaign.

The total still stands at 176 players in total, but there could be a couple who add their names to the list this weekend - Chris Baird made his Royals debut at Derby last Saturday and we speak exclusively to the new addition about his move, his hopes for the season and his upcoming trips not only to Oakwell and Turf Moor but Azerbaijan and Israel!

We have programme notes from the manager and the captain, both of whom speak about the loss of Jem to injury and assess our eight-game start to the season. We have Young Royals competitions, quizzes, all the info on Lee Clark's visitors, historical items on Mick Tait and Joe McGough...and so much more!

The programme is still only £3, remains perfect bound, 84 pages long and jam-packed with content. You can buy your copy from one of our two programme pods at the ground, from our sellers dotted around the stadium concourses, from the megastore and the Ticket Office - and if you miss a copy you can even buy your issue online at
