Guthrie sidelinedNigel Adkins has revealed that Danny Guthrie could be set for a fortnight on the sidelines with a calf injury.
The midfielder was injured in the warm up prior to the game with Bournemouth in midweek, and looks set to miss Monday's televised clash with table toppers Leicester City.
"We've lost Danny Guthrie the other night and it looks as though he's going to be out for a couple of weeks which is not ideal," said Adkins. "Danny Williams will be touch and go so we will see where we go with that one regarding Monday. It is unfortunate but most clubs have the same sort of thing over the course of the season I'm sure, it's something you cannot dwell on."
More positive news on the injury front comes in the form of three key players who are returning to the first team fold after their own spells on the sidelines.
"It's good that Morrison, Bridge and Leigertwood are coming back with the experience that they've got," continued the manager. "It's a five game season now and we look forward to it."
