Bridge on the bench for Addicks clash

Nigel Adkins has made four changes to the eleven that started against Huddersfield last weekend and is also able to name Wayne Bridge on the substitutes bench!

In attack, Adam Le Fondre and Royston Drenthe start in place of Hal Robson-Kanu and Garath McCleary, who both drop to the bench.

Kaspars Gorkss is also restored to the starting line-up and he forms part of a back four, Sean Morrison is named as a substitute.

Michael Hector, who started in midfield last weekend, misses out through injury, allowing the eligible again Danny Guthrie to return to the starting line-up.

Jake Taylor and Shaun Cummings have travelled with the squad, but Hope Akpan is absent through injury.

Charlton meanwhile name two former Royals amongst their starting eleven, Ben Hamer begins the game in goal for the Addicks, while Simon Church returns from injury to lead the Athletic line.
