Boss cautiously optimisticManager Nigel Adkins is hopeful of more activity before Monday night's transfer deadline.
So far we have signed Simon Cox, Jamie Mackie, Anton Ferdinand and Oliver Norwood, and the boss says we are still active in the market - although he cautioned that the last two days of the window are notoriously difficult and things can change at any minute.
He said, "The phones are very active, lots of conversations are ongoing and it's a very busy period.
"The majority of deals are done in the last couple of days. I've answered several calls since coming off the training pitch and I can see it being very busy up until 11pm on Monday night.
"We'll be active until the close of play because we want to keep strengthening, especially with so many players out."
Asked by Charles Watts of the Reading Post if he would like to add to his attacking options, the boss said, "Yes.
"There's lot of conversations going on - but that's the same for every single club.
"Until something is done, anything can happen."
