'Kuhl had a super game'

Aaron impresses on full debut

Manager Nigel Adkins heaped praise on Aaron Kuhl after his full debut for the club on Saturday.

At the age of just 18, Aaron showed real composure and a great range of passing in the middle of the park.

It was a promising start - and at such a young age it would be wrong to put pressure on him - and he can be pleased with his first steps into professional football.

Nigel said, "Making his first team debut at the age of 18, I thought he had a super game.

"He always wanted the ball. He was very competitive in there and that was really pleasing.

"He always wanted to be involved and it was great experience for him."

We have already blooded a record number of Academy players this season, and the boss continued, "When you look at the team, so many of them have come through the Academy.

"It's valuable experience for them and there's a positivity about them."
