Team News: Kuhl starts, Norwood on bench

23 August 2014

Pavel misses out on City Ground trip

The Royals make two changes to the starting eleven who lost against Huddersfield earlier in the week, with Aaron Kuhl and Ryan Edwards handed starting berths at the City Ground this afternoon.

18-year-old Kuhl only made his Royals bow in the second half against the Terriers and today gets his full debut for the club, starting in midfield in place of Hope Akpan.

Young Aussie Ryan Edwards returns to the starting eleven as one of seven Academy graduates to start against the joint league leaders.

Pavel Pogrebnyak misses out on the trip to Nottingham with a calf injury, so former Forest striker Simon Cox starts up front for Nigel Adkins' men.

New signing Oliver Norwood takes a place on the substitutes' bench, while young Irish full back Sean Long as well as keeper Mikkel Andersen have travelled with the squad.

Nottm Forest: Darlow, Harding, Mancienne, Hunt, Fox, Cohen (c), Reid, Antonio, Burke, Fryatt, Assombalonga.

Royals: Federici; Gunter (c), Cummings, Pearce, Hector; Kuhl, Obita, Taylor, Blackman,
