Young goalkeepers head out on loan

7 August 2014

Trio set to gain experience

Young Royals goalkeepers Jon Henly, Stuart Moore and George Legg are all set to gain experience on loan away from Madejski Stadium.

Legg, 18, was a member of our Academy last year and has now signed his first professional contract with the club. He will now join Isthmian League side Hendon on a one month loan deal.

Elsewhere, it has been confirmed that 19-year-old Stuart Moore has joined Vanarama Conference South outfit Basingstoke Town on a season long loan deal. Moore, who has featured already in a number of pre-season friendlies for the Dragons, will miss the first three games of the campaign due to a red card picked up in the tail end of his loan spell with Bath in the 2013/14 season.

As a result Royals stopper Jon Henly has penned a one month loan deal with the club to cover in the absensce of Moore at the Soccer Am Stadium.
