Landlords and ladies needed
Reading Football Club are seeking landladies or landlords to provide accommodation for young football apprentices and trialists in the local area.In particular, the Royals are looking for volunteers who could accommodate youngsters around Winnersh, Lower Earley, Earley and Woodley.
Lodgings should provide good quality accommodation in an area which provides a safe setting for the apprentices to live during their weekly training schedule.
The role will require either weekly/seasonal residential accommodation for full-time apprentices or daily/weekly residential accommodation for trailists on an ad-hoc basis during the football season. The landlord/lady will need to provide high quality nutritional breakfasts and evening meals with occasional lunches.

Reading Football Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all accommodation providers to share this commitment. This role involves work with young people and is subject to Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. Clearance through The FACRB system is required. As such this post is exempt for the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and the applicant must disclose all previous convictions including spent convictions.
Applicants will in addition need to demonstrate that the accommodation meets certain safety standards.
