2004 – Promoted from Chelsea’s academy set-up by Jose Mourinho to become his assistant manager.
2005 – Wins the Premier League and League Cup with Chelsea.
2006 – Retains the Premier League with a joint league record of 29 wins from 38 games.
2007 – Wins an FA Cup and League Cup double.
2008 – Reaches the Champions League final in Moscow.
2009 – Works alongside Gianfranco Zola at West Ham as the Hammers finish ninth in the Premier League.
2010 – Leaves West Ham after the departure of Zola.
2011 – Joins Kenny Dalglish as his assistant manager at Liverpool.
2012 – Wins the League Cup with the Reds and is named November’s Manager of the Month after taking the manager's at West Brom.
2013 – Guides the Baggies to their highest ever Premier League finish, eighth, and a points total of 49. Secures West Brom’s first win at Manchester United for the first time in 35 years.
2014 – Appointed as manager of Reading Football Club on a two and-a-half year contract.
