Midfielder to fight for placeDanny Guthrie says the squad are 'in it together' as the Royals aim to bounce back from last Saturday's defeat with a win over Yeovil Town this weekend.
The midfielder was a second half substitute against Blackburn Rovers as the Royals lost 1-0, and finding consistency - especially at home - is key, according to Guthrie.
"Blackburn sat back really deep and we played right into their hands trying to find that killer pass from too far away," he said."
"The most consistent teams are the ones that make the top six. So we have to find that consistency and make our home pitch hard for teams for get three points from."
The former Newcastle man made his second appearance from the bench after a spell on the sidelines with a calf injury, and praised the central midfield partnership of Hope Akpan and Danny Williams which has applied in his absence.
"There are no complaints from me. The two lads have done really well. I’ve come back, got on with it and worked hard," he added.
"I'll continue to do that until I get back into the team. I'm not going to sulk, everyone is in this together so we'll have to keep pushing."
