Obita staying confident

Jordan keen to bounce back

Jordan Obita says the Royals remain confident about their promotion challenge and will aim to bounce back with a win this Saturday at home to Yeovil Town.

Blackburn Rovers were 1-0 winners last weekend, but the Academy graduate says the side will be focussed on putting that right against the Glovers.

"They caught us on the counter-attack and then defended well to stop us getting back at them," Jordan told BBC Radio Berkshire.

"It was disappointing to lose at home, but hopefully next week we can put it right and get a win."

Yeovil currently lie at the bottom of the Sky Bet Championship table, but Jordan says they won't be underestimating the promoted side as the Royals aim to cement their place in the play-offs.

"I think we can beat them. It won't be easy but I'm confident in our ability to get all three points," the left-sided player added.

"In the Championship it is hard, every game is hard but we know we can go into any game and win - which we need to show on Saturday.

"You have to keep a close eye on the teams around you because it's tight. I'm sure we can still reach the play-offs, we've just got to stay confident and win games."
