TEAM NEWS: Guthrie on bench

8 February 2014

Fit-again midfielder returns to the squad

Nigel Adkins has named the same starting eleven for the sixth game in succession, keeping the consistency that has seen the Royals win four out of their last five in the league.

Danny Guthrie returns to the squad following a calf injury, the midfielder taking a place on the substitute's bench in place of Royston Drenthe.

Hope Akpan keeps his starting berth in midfield, despite coming off with a knock in the first half of the win at Millwall last weekend, while Jake Taylor - who played an hour at the New Den as a consequence - retains his place on the bench.
