Twelve goals in two home games, but Danny Williams is urging the Royals to keep their feet on the ground ahead of Saturday’s trip to Millwall.

The American international has been a sprightly part of Nigel Adkins’ midfield over the last few weeks, but isn't losing focus despite a resounding victory over Blackpool.

“We have to stay calm, we have been through poor form in the past and the confidence went down a bit, now we are in a good place and we have to make sure we stay in the top six,” said Williams.

“It feels good to get the result at Blackpool, the rest of the team put in a good shift and we are looking forward to the Millwall game. My teammates said to me it will be a crazy game, a crazy ground! I’m looking forward to it…I get motivation out of that!”

The former Hoffenheim midfielder has also been impressed with the side’s spirit in recent weeks, whilst a certain lethal frontman is also catching his eye…

“Nine out of ten times when the ball is in the box Alfie scores. He’s a fantastic striker and we’re lucky to have him in the team. We are a team with great team spirit, we have good players and there’s a fight for every position.”
