Defender on away winDefender Chris Gunter hailed the determination of the Royals in the build up to last Saturday's 1-0 win at Watford.
The Welsh international was a key part of a back four which kept a clean sheet at Vicarage Road, and Gunter hopes that this is the start of a good run for Nigel Adkins' men.
"Recently the training ground has been a place full of people determined to put things right," he said, speaking to BBC Berkshire after the Hornets victory.
"We know one recent can turn a lot of things into positives, hopefully this is the start of that."
At the age of just 24, Gunter has made over 200 appearance in the Championship and knows full well that the games come thick and fast and runs can certainly be put together.
"We know the games in the Championship come think and fast. We didn't have the greatest time over the Christmas period but sometimes that's just the Championship - you can go on runs of good wins and some runs of not winning.
"It's just a case of not being too high when you're on a good run and not being too low when you're on a bad run. With the manager we've got, he's the best at emphasising that it that showed at the weekend."
