Team news: Hal on the bench

28 January 2014

Starting eleven unchanged again

For the fourth match in succession, the Royals have named the same starting eleven ahead of tonight's Madejski Stadium clash with Blackpool.

Nigel Adkins has made just one alteration to the eighteen names that were on the teamsheet for our trip to Ipswich Town on Saturday, naming the fit-again Hal Robson-Kanu on the bench in place of Shaun Cummings.

Chris Gunter makes his 50th start in a Reading shirt, while former Blackpool defender Kaspars Gorkss starts his 75th Royals game at the back.

Reading: McCarthy, Gunter, Obita, Gorkss, Pearce, Akpan, Williams, McCleary, McAnuff (c), Le Fondre, Pogrebnyak.

Subs: Federici, Kelly, Hector, J Taylor, Blackman, Robson-Kanu, Drenthe.

Blackpool: Gilks, McMahon, Broadfoot, Cathcart, Robinson, Osbourne, Basham, Perkins, Eccleston, Chopra, Davies.

Subs: Warner, Dodd, Angel, Caton, Halliday, Tyson, Goodwillie
