Buses/Trains for Madejski Stadium

29 July 2014

Arriving via public transport

Bus information
There are a number of buses from Reading and surrounding areas that run direct to Madejski Stadium. (Please note there has been some minor changes to services and times compared to last season, so check the timetables below)

For those using the buses this season, a new "Football Return" ticket is being introduced - priced at £6 for adults and £3.50 for under 19s. This will allow travelers to buy on any normal Reading Buses service and transfer onto the F1 service - and then return to town on the F1 and before again transferring onto your Reading buses service. This ticket is not valid on any other football bus and can only be purchased on a Reading Buses non-football service. It can only be purchased in the Simply Reading area.

Please note the last departing buses from Madejski Stadium on a matchday are
15:00pm Kick-Off– 17:41pm departure from Northern Way (Service F1)
20:00pm Kick-Off – 22:41pm departure from Northern Way  (Service F1)

• Buses from the greater Reading area, Reading town centre and Newbury are run by Reading Buses.
• Services from Basingstoke, Farnborough, Wokingham and Bracknell are subsidised by Reading FC and run by Stagecoach Buses.
