Novakovich scores again for USA

Young Royals striker impresses

18-year-old Reading striker Andrija Novakovich bagged another goal on Wednesday, as he helped USA U20s to a 4-0 win over Bermuda.

The youngster put his county ahead after just 27 minutes as he scored from close range, before earning a penalty 12 minutes later when he cleverly turned on his marker before the defender dragged him to the ground inside the box.

Novakovich played the full 90 minutes as they dominated the game, eventually cruising to a 4-0 victory.

Andrija scored for the States earlier this week, just two minutes after coming off the bench in the US' first 2014 National Training Center Invitational.

USA's third game of the group take place on Friday evening as they play Australia. Because of their superior goal difference, a win or a draw for Novakovich's side will be enough to clinch the NTC Championship.

U.S. U20 MNT starting XI v Bermuda: Zack Steffen; Caleb Smith, Jesus Vasquez, Conor Donovan, Chris Odoi-Atsem; Marco Delgado, Jacori Hayes, Romain Gall; Zach Pfeffer, Andrija Novakovich, Tommy Thompson.
