Young trio put pen to paperThree more youngsters today signed new contracts with the club - making it a total of eight young professionals who have committed themselves to the Royals this week.
England u18 international centre back Rob Dickie has signed on, as have Scotland youth international George McLennan and promising goalkeeper Dan Lincoln.
Earlier this week Dominic Samuel, Stuart Moore, Shane Griffin, Sean Long and Nana Owusu put pen to paper, and more will follow soon.
18-year-old centre back who played practically every game for our under 18s this season, including our historic FA Youth Cup run to the semi-final, scoring in the first leg against Fulham. He made his England Under 18 debut in April, playing the full 90 minutes as the young Lions came from behind to beat Germany.
19-year-old goalkeeper who has been with us since 2003 and is now entering his second year as a full professional. He was an ever present in 2012/13 as our Under 18s reached the Premier League Academy final, and was then a mainstay of our Under 21s team as they won the Premier League Cup this past season, showcasing his goalkeeping talent and excellent distribution.
Left back, 18, who scored our hugely memorable equaliser against Liverpool in a 4-4 FA Youth Cup quarter final draw at Madejski Stadium. Joined from Gillingham in April 2012 and began his career as a wide man before moving into defence. Has represented Scotland at youth level.
