Jem pegged back in predictions game

23 June 2014

Karacan 2-1 Royals Supporters

Royals midfielder Jem Karacan has illustrated his global football knowledge, having won two rounds of World Cup predictions against Royals supporters.

However, on Sunday night, Reading fan Verity Johnson because the first to get the better of Karacan, with a 5-2 victory.

Before the tournament in Brazil started, readingfc.co.uk asked the Turk for his predictions for every group game - and has done well so far.

BASIC RULES
- Three points are given for the correct score, and one point is awarded for the correct result.
- The supporter's predictions must be tweeted BEFORE the kick off of each game.

Our first competitor, Royals supporter Chris Bradley, was the first to take on Jem after he retweeted our tweet (below) on Twitter, and was chosen at random to take on our Turkish star.

Chris and Jem went go head-to-head for the first eight fixtures of the tournament, but our midfielder came out on top, with eight points to Chris' five.

Jem then took on his next competitor, @daniel_rfc2, and once again claimed victory with four points to Daniel's three. Reading fan George Knowlson was beaten 7-5 in the next round, before Verity Johnson broke Karacan's unbeaten run.

If you'd like to be the next to take on Karacan, keep an eye on our Twitter page @ReadingFC.
