Royals recognised at Hospitality Awards

10 June 2014

Reading named Operations Team of the Year

The Royals have been recognised at the 2014 Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards - as they picked up the Operations Team of the Year Award.

Over 300 guests from football and rugby stadia across the country celebrated their ‘off the pitch’ successes at the 10th annual awards organised by Stadium Experience (previously The Football Hospitality Awards), which aims to recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every football and rugby stadium across the UK.

Reading fought off stiff competition from Southampton and Worcester Warriors Rugby Club to pick up the prize and were recognised for their dedication, flexibility and innovation

They were also nominated for a variety of other matchday hospitality awards.

Reading FC Head of Commercial Sales Adam Benson said: “This is a fantastic achievement and a reward for the tireless work that the team put in for each and every matchday. We look to create an environment of excellence that can be enjoyed by all who use our facilities, so this is something we are determined to build on."
