Duo step up trainingRoyals manager Nigel Adkins provided some good news on the injury front, as he revealed that Wayne Bridge and Sean Morrison have stepped up their training and are closer to a return.
Defenders Bridge and Morrison have been on the treatment table since October and November respectively, but the boss hopes to have their pair available for the crucial final block of Sky Bet Championship fixtures.
"We've had a spate of situations, and obviously Sean Morrison and Wayne Bridge have been out for a long time," he told Reading FC Player.
"After a great start to the season, one of the best in many many years here at Reading, we unfortunately also lost Jem Karacan, Royston Drenthe, and Danny Williams in the Leeds game in September.
"But Wayne's gone and joined in a bit more with training and so has Sean, so that's promising. If we can get them back in the fold, then that will be really good for the group of players we've got for that all important run-in. The games are going to come thick and fast."
