Team News
Reading: Sean Morrison returned to action for 60 minutes in a training ground friendly this week, but the game with Birmingham will come too soon for first team action. Pavel Pogrebnyak returned from injury to the bench for last weekend's clash with Derby. Hal Robson-Kanu came off after 30 minutes against the Rams with an injury, whilst Danny Williams has missed the last three games with a knee problem.
Birmingham City: Birmingham could be without on-loan Manchester City midfielder Emyr Huws, who has an injured hip. But veteran defender Paul Robinson has recovered from a head injury and should be fit to start against the Royals.
