Defender gets an hour under his beltDefender Sean Morrison got an important hour of game time under his belt this afternoon, helping the Royals to a clean sheet in a friendly against Oxford United.
In a goalless draw at Hogwood Park, the 23-year-old got his first slice of match action since he last played for Reading in a 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers back in November.
First team players Stephen Kelly, Michael Hector, Jake Taylor, Adam Federici, Nick Blackman and Shaun Cummings also played in the 0-0 draw, while the likes of Craig Tanner, Sean Long, Pierce Sweeney and Jake Cooper also featured from the under-21s group.
The Royals were steady throughout the game, with forward Blackman coming closest to winning it with his first half effort cleared off the line.
